In 2015, the Bouldin Creek Neighborhood Association contracted an architectural historian firm to survey every home in the neighborhood, categorizing each for its significance as a contributor to the neighborhood’s historic fabric. The survey, completed in early 2016, also suggested different areas of contributing structures that might comprise a series of local historic districts (LHD) if property owners applied to the city’s program for that designation.
The survey includes a survey report, which recounts how the neighborhood evolved over the past century . The survey area map and an inventory list all surveyed structures with their level of importance for preservation.
